Sustainable Destination Development

21st Century tourism management challenges at a destination level are almost overwhelming. Navigating sustainable growth while protecting the cherished resources that communities and travelers depend upon is increasingly vital in this day and age. Destinations that put sustainability at the forefront of their master planning are already beginning to prosper, while those that don’t will find it increasingly difficult to thrive. Through years of international leadership and experience, services includes assessing and developing regional and national sustainable tourism standards, policy and planning, as well as product and development, capacity building and market access globally. Related projects include:

"Mr. Krahenbuhl has provided important assistance in helping to move Montenegro’s sustainable tourism efforts forward, including a very thorough assessment of our sustainable tourism development policies, plans and activities, while supporting destination marketing and communications. His insight, suggestions and level of support were much appreciated, especially given our Parliamentary commitment to our National Tourism Development Strategy to 2020 and our vision within. We look forward to ongoing collaboration."
